About Chris

A Passionate Coach
Chris is driven to find ways to deliver concepts. Finding ways to communicate to any level of student, from a 5 year old to an adult competitor, keeps Chris motivated.

An Active competitor
Chris pushes himself to compete, sometimes entering a bracket just for the chance to roll with a particular JJ player.

Searches out challenges
Chris has trained in many gyms, all over the world, in order to find challenging rounds. He believes this is the best way to improve his grappling

Putting it All Together
Chris brings these attributes to his coaching. He’s motivated to help students achieve their goals, and he’s good at it

Coach Stu
Stu leads the kids program at Blackhole Jiu Jitsu. He’s been dedicated to learning how to work with kids effectively and communicate at their level.
About Stu

A Student Mindset
Stu likes to understand things and why they work, so that he can explain them at a level for the students he works with.

Dedicated Youth Coach
Stu has been working with youth for several years, not just in the gym but also with the MAT program, which works to keep disengaged kids at school.

Targeted Practice
Stu likes to maintain grappling that kids can use in the real world and he searches out coaches to build those skills regularly.
What That Means for You
Stu has had a chance to practice coaching in several settings. Some of them very difficult. Your kids will benefit from the calm and engaging manner in which we deliver our classes.
